1 Year Photos

I got Camerons 1 year pictures today, so are some of them. Its hard to choose which ones to put on here because they are all so cute, so brace yourself for a lot of photos...

A Lil Decorating...

Every now and then I get in a funk and I need to change something in my house or make something new to decorate with. So last week I got into a decorating mood and decided I wanted to cut some vinyl. I also have been trying to get all my pictures matted because I think it makes them look more complete. So I bought a few new frames, and matted a few old ones. Then I cut vinyl to decorate this frame with. I love it. Then I decided to replace some vinyl on my wall that I had to take down when we painted. But I didnt want to do the same thing I had before, so this is what I came up with. I know these arent the best pictures, but you can see the general idea. I am really starting to like my home now, I have been doing a lot of little things, garage sale hopping, crafts, etc. that are really making me love the way my home looks.

Building a Garden

We are doing a vegitable garden for the first time ever this summer. So we had to build the garden so we could plant. Bret got the dirt and built the box, what a great husband. And then Cameron and I watched him unload the dirt. Then the other night I planted some starts and seeds. I cant wait to see some progress! Cameron had a blast playing in the dirt, now whenever we go into the bakyard I cant keep him away from it!

Recent Pictures

Since I havent been able to upload my pictures for a while I have a few built up. Here are some cute ones.

Ok I swear Cameron does wear pants... Sometimes it just not worth the fight after a diaper change. But we got him this phone and he figured out how to "answer the phone." We make a ring ring noise and he picks it up and puts it to his ear. Its really cute to watch.

He loves our broom, but I think its kinda gross to let him play with it so when I was at Target I saw this little broom and dust pan in the $1 section so I had to get it for him. He obviously knows what to do with them!
The other day I was cooking dinner and Cameron kept pulling and untieing my apron. So I took it off and put it on him. It was so funny to watch him run around in it! Then he got out a spatula like I was using, funny kid!

I love these PJs!

Cameron loves playing in our closet. He loves to pull on the sleeves of long shirts, or ties for dresses. So the other day Bret took down one of his shirts and put it on him. He was funny walking around our room in it.

Mothers Day

I made these for my Mom and Mother-in-law for Mothers Day. They are 12"x12" stretched canves on a frame that I painted and mod podged paper to and then I cut vinyl with my cricut for them. I saw my moms on her wall yesterday and it looked great. I think Im going to make one for myselp =P This was the best we could get for a picture of the 3 of us. Cameron would not look at the camera as always.

This was our picture last year. I had just had Cameron exactly 1 week before this was taken. We have both lost a lot of weight since that one was taken! (I sure hope I dont blow up like that with my next pregnancy...) And Cameron has grown a lot too!

Camerons First Birthday Party

We had Camerons birthday party on Saturday May 9th. It turned out to be a beautiful day! We got super lucky because the day before and the day after had crummy weather, but our day was great. Since it was nice weather we did the pary in our backyard. We had a lot of fun seeing our family and friends and celebrating his birthday. Sorry so many pictures! All the kids had a fun time playing with Camerons balls. Riley and Peyton in their stylin' sunglasses!

Since Cameron loves Mickey Mouse so much I did a Mickey Mouse themed party. Since most the kids were really young I couldnt do much in the way of games. So we did a quick game of pin the tail on Mickey Mouse!

Cameron got lots of fun presents from everyone. He has been enjoying playing with his new toys.

I should have known better than to do his pary around noon because even though he got a nap in before the party, by his usual nap time he was so tired and fussy. So he didnt really get into the cake like I had hoped. But he still enjoyed a bit of it:)

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted. For some reason my pictures wont upload to my computer right now and I want to have pictures in my posts. So as soon as I figure it out I will post about Camerons birthday party and mothers day etc.

Camerons 1 Year Photos

Cameron is hard to get a picture of where he is looking at the camera dead on like Bret is in this picture. This is Brets 1 year picture. I wish I had a better picture of Cameron to compare. But what do you think? Do they look alike??

Mini Birthday Party

I wanted Cameron to know that today was his birthday since his party isnt until Saturday. So I decided to invite my parents and Brets parents over for cupcakes to celebrate. I am no master cake decorator so this is the best I could do with cupcakes in a short period of time, but it was fun and Cameron loved the cupcake!
At first he just picked off the frosting and then he finally he picked up the whole cupcake and shoved it into his face. He was so cute eating his cupcake!

My parents brought him a gift and it was a Mickey Mouse blanket, it is so soft! He loves Mickey. Bret and I got him a little mini t-ball baby toy and a water toy for summer in the back yard. He had a great birthday!

My Baby is ONE!

Today is my babies birthday, I cant even believe he is already one year old! Time flies when your having fun. I am so thankful for evey moment of every day with him, he is the most precious little boy and I love him so much. I am grateful to my heavenly father for sending him to us. It has been a wild year, lots of learning on our part as well as Camerons. He has grown and changed so much. I have loved seeing him reach all his milestones so far, from reaching for things, sitting up, rolling over, crawling, pulling up and walking. I cant wait to see all the new things he will do this next year. I remember the first time I saw him and held him, those were the best moments in my life besides my wedding day. He will always be my little baby!

Helping Daddy mow the lawn!
We got this for Cameron as one of his birthday presents, we pulled it out a little early cause it was a nice day. But by the time we got it all ready it wasnt so nice out anymore, but we still wanted to see how it worked. Cameron had fun watching the water spray and I am excited for him to play with it this summer. It came with a slide too that you put on the side so he can slide down into the water.

This is a weird picture, I think its funny cause it looks like he is dancing!
